Shadyantra - The perfect plot

SHADYANTRA-the Perfect Plot is an intensely menacing and entertaining ode to power and conspiracy-mongering that is disturbingly rampant in these present times. The play has a dynamic storyline with intricate characters in the local prison, some thrilling flashbacks and animatedly follows a plot of complex conspiracies, murders and deception.

Tossed in are some intense dosages of political malfeasance and conspiratorial group of plotters, ravenous for money and power. The play with its strong undercurrent of suspicious murkiness manages to strike the right balance of being disturbingly subversive, intensely disconcerting, and yet richly enjoyable.

Roshni

Director: Ranveer Kumar

Roshni

A poignant and sentimental story of Suraj, who is rejected by his ladylove Roshni and even after two years, the scars of his lover's betrayal are still fresh and a dark cloud of pessimism hovers over his personal life.

Suraj, in his drunken stupor narrates his feelings and anecdotes of his passionate but doomed love to a visitor. A unique bond forms between Suraj and the visitor as after years, Suraj shares the intense pain of his unfulfilled love for Roshni with someone.

'Roshni' explores the inner pain of this man, torn between the pull he feels towards his personal responsibilities and his wish to live a reclusive life- to wallow in self destruction to escape from the tragic reality of his lost love.

World peace

World peace is an expressionist play and depicts the suffering and spiritual awakening of the protagonist and also mirrors his innate goodness and wickedness contingent to his circumstances. The psychological element of the play has a heavy presence, for even while the plot moves forward, it also explores the complex psyche of the character. In its truest essence, world peace is a resourceful and thoughtful play that reflects some of the most difficult issues we face today.
