About Us
New Age Theatre is a Mumbai-based theatre group dedicated to presenting high quality and inspirational theatrical productions to the community through collaborative and creative outreach programs.
The aim of our group is to introduce the performing arts to the community, especially the youth by encouraging them to make positive choices and productive actions. According to its founder, Mr. Ranveer Kumar, "We aspire to present an inspired and age-appropriate message about social awakening through the medium of our theatrical productions."
"Since our inception in 2007, we have produced challenging and contemporary dramatic pieces that concentrate on social and political awakening. If we look around us we can see that social apathy is reaching epidemic proportions in our country and the mainstream is painfully indifferent to social, economic, environmental, and political concerns. In view of that our main objective is to encourage and empower our audience to become self-determined thinkers so that they become socially responsible and active members of the society."
It is our unshakable endeavor to produce meaningful theatre that we can be proud of and also draw audiences who will return time and time again to our theatrical productions and also participate in our social reformation activities.
